Headstart on Memorial Day

I guess I've never really done the "Memorial Day" thing. You see---I don't really have any close relatives that are buried anywhere near where I have lived. My girls and I have been working on Garrin's family history---organizing the histories and pictures. I had a wild idea one day to see if anyone was buried nearby. I searched and found that he had 11 relatives in the Utah/Salt Lake County area.....and we were OFF! We decided to get a head start on Sunday with the 2 Utah County ones.

Entrance to Provo City Cemetery, Provo, UT

Mary Maud Green Cooper
Block 8 Lot 9BC
Feb 7 1852-Dec 16 1928
She died at the State Mental Hospital in Provo. More on that another time.

Kaylee, Jaycee, and Shawnee at Mary Maud's grave

Pleasant Grove Cemetery was next at 500 North 1000 East in Pleasant Grove, UT
Kaylee, Garrin, Jaycee, and Shawnee at Sarah Williams Green Warburton's grave.

John Warburton was another husband of Sarah's....not the one we come through. Sarah was Mary Maud's mother and Sarah was married to Lawrence Green of England.

Tomorrow---we're off to find some more graves! Wish us luck!
